Biking Schedule

MEET: 10:30 a.m. at Mousette Park, Gatineau. To get there, From Island Park, cross the Champlain Bridge and turn right at the first traffic light (Lucerne Boulevard.) Mousette park is about a kilometer ahead.

MEET: 10:30 a.m. in the east parking lot of Andrew Haydon Park for a bike ride to Shirley's Bay. Easy trip along bike path through country fields. Bring a picnic lunch. For those who are interested, we will visit the Summer Solstice Pow Wow at Madahoki Farm - 4420 West Hunt Club Road - after the bike ride.

booth for Gatineau Park, where the closed extension of Rue Gamelin
crosses the Gatineau Parkway. Enter the Parkway from Alumetieres and go
north.

July 24 Bate Island to Lac Leamy (21 km). Bate Island is located under the Champlain Bridge at the end of Island Park Drive. Lunch stop at Lac Leamy. If you are attending, e-mail e-mail hikes-2020{at}raski,ca by July 23 so we can update you with  last-minute changes. Map. Leader: Bob Cavan.

POSTPONED TO SUNDAY AUG. 11. Meet at Catherine McGregor’s home (50 St. Lawrence Dr., Ingleside). We will bike along the bike path to Crysler park marina, taking a side trip to Ault Island and making several stops on the way back. At the Upper Canada village grounds we can visit the 1812 museum and lookout, and the bird sanctuary. IF YOU ARE ATTENDING, e-mail hikes-2020{at}raski.ca by August 2nd. Bring a lunch/snack and a bathing suit and towel for possible swimming. Trip leader: Catherine McGregor
