**CANCELLED due to probable poor travel and ski conditions. **Meet in the parking area on south side of Carling Ave at the intersection with Rifle Rd. There is additional parking across the road off of Carling. This is an easy ski along the groomed Ottawa West Winter Trail. Snowshoeing is an option on this trail.

| XC - City - Rideau Winter Trail |

Meet at the Rideau Sports Centre (1 Donald St) 10:30 a.m. for an easy ski along the Rideau Winter Trail. Snowshoeing is an option on this trail. Optional Lunch at the Bridge Public House. If the trail extends to the RA Centre by the time this outing is scheduled, we may change the starting point to the RA Centre - stay tuned.

**Cancelled due to a number of circumstances** Meet at the P9 or P10 Parking Lot at 10:00 a.m. (exact lot will be determined closer to the date). We will ski to Huron Cabin and then return to the parking lot via trail # 3 (Burma). This is an Intermediate ski. Bring a lunch to eat at Huron Cabin.

Meet at the P7 Larose Forest at 10:30 a.m. to explore the cross-country trails at Larose Forest.
Directions: Take Hwy 417 east to Exit 79 (Hwy 5, Limoges).Head north (left) on road 5. Drive through Limoges. Keep right onto Indian Creek road (unpaved), following signs to P7, Larose Forest. Turn left onto Ferdinand Lane and meet in the P7 Parking lot (the first parking lot along this lane). Snowshoeing is an option on this trail. For those interested in lunch after the ski, there is an option to go to Boboul Pizza in Limoges.

If you are looking for an intermediate ski this weekend, The Ottawa Outdoor Club (OOC) is running a trip from P10 to Huron, with return on #1 and #3 on Saturday March 1. If you are not a member, you can sign up for a ski as a non-member and pay a modest fee. Check their website ottawaoutdoorclub{dot}ca for details.

| XC - Gatineau Park - P19 to Lusk Cabin or to end of Lac Philippe (2 route options) |

Meet at the P19 Parking Lot (Lac Philippe) at 10:00 a.m. The Ottawa Outdoor club will join us for this ski and we are offering 2 different routes. There will be a trip leader from the RA and from OOC for each route.
1. Group 1 will ski to Lusk Cabin on trails 50, 55 and 54. Trail 54 is a blue trail and the others are green trails Bring a lunch for the cabin. Approximately 10 km round trip. Trip Leader: Jane Hilliard
2. Group 2 will ski from P19 to the end of Lac Philippe on trail 50 (green trail). This group plans to stop at Renaud cabin on the return trip. Trip leader: Marie-Reine Fournier
